Both passive (ER>17 dB) and active alignment process (>24 dB) are available to meet customer performances and price needs. Please note that Optotec standard PM alignment is performed to the slow axis.
For assemblies on PM optical devices, please provide copies of the technical datasheet and any other relevant documents. Optotec provides very high performance PM terminations directly to any optical devices (polarization based modulators and pigtailed lasers, mechanical and thermal sensors, optical interferometry, medical devices) as well as to pigtails and patch cords assemblies.
