The FOCUS-SSD Sliding Splicing Drawer is a product designed to splice cables to cables and cable to pigtails. The product can be used inside the FOCUS-ODF racks in combination with FOCUS-STD shelves to terminate pigtails. The main distinguishing features of the product are both versions ETSI and 19′, the use of FOCUS-SAM (Sub Assembly Modules) for splicing; the integration of passive components such as PLCs; the ability to terminate pigtails using optical Pigtail Kevlar Retainer and to facilitate the installation with pre assembly tubes to guide the fibers within the sub-rack to reach the splicing cassettes.
