Optotrac – torchles aerial closure system
OPTOTRAC is a torchles, non-heat shrinkable closure system for free-breathing aerial application. It consist of main three components. After splicing preparation and bondingtwo closure end pieces are placed over the cable. The central body is then closed over th end pieces and splice to provide a secure cover. The body is locked in place by metal latches, tie wrap or bolts along its bottom. The end pieces incorporate a proven rubber gel material which provide effective protection against water entry without tapes, mastic, clamps or special tool.
